THE FOREST BREATHES/ SKOGEN ANDAS
CLIMATE AND NATURAL PROCESSES

In this public art project called , THE FOREST BREATHES / SKOGEN ANDAS, I want to highlight Lammhult's strong connectionto the forest and what it represents. The forest, the climate and the processes of nature affect us all, regardless of where we live in the world. For most people, and perhaps especially for young people, the climate issue is a topic that strongly touches and engages. A commitment that will have great significance for how our common future is shaped. In Lammhult's new school, each entrance has been given its own special colour. The entrances all represent a different climate zone and at the same time a building block in the natural process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis takes place in green plants and leaves that can capture sunlight with the help of chlorophyll. The plants convert solar energy, water and carbon dioxide into dextrose and oxygen. This process is represented in
THE FOREST BREATHES.
